Off to Utah

We spent most of July in Utah with family and it was jam packed full of fun.  So I'm just going to break it up into a bunch of little random posts.

I flew out with both the kids on a late flight from hell.  We sat on the plane at the gate for a whole hour before they explained that one of the pilot's iPads had not been working and they had to wait to get him a working one.  So it was about 10 PM before we took off.  Then they didn't make up any time in the air which was annoying.  Atticus woke up as we flew over the Dakotas and didn't go back to sleep while Jonny restlessly slept on me.  We got to Salt Lake and circled three or four times then as we were landing, we pulled back up right near the last minute with no explanation and circled the valley a few more times.  When we finally did land they made us wait because someone had been complaining of sickness so the medics had to come in and take her off first.  (She was fine.  Saw her at baggage claim.) Then we waited at baggage claim (luckily by then my mom was with us) for at least 20 minutes before the bags even started coming.  We were exhausted.  By the time we finally left the airport it was after 2AM Massachusetts time.
Atticus passed out before we even took off.
When we got to my parent's, my brother and his wife had brought us some food.  We had left for the airport before dinner so that was amazing of them to do!  And we all got to meet their new baby, Dean, before I got the kids off to bed.
Some Utah priorities the first week were there.  Lagoon Trail and Keva.
We got to squeeze in a visit to see Granny and Jenny.
More time with baby Dean.
Jonny was always very careful to help Dean keep his binky in.
Just rockin' at Grammy's house.
Made some s'mores with Grammy and Grandpa one night.
He was sure he was just as messy as Jonny.
This is how we all feel about s'mores.
We were also able to go see one of my niece, Kyndi's softball games, which I loved.  She's the pitcher and did an awesome job!
