Christmastime 2014

This is Christmas
Setting up our beautiful fake tree,
which Atticus found fantastic
This kid was obsessed with Grinch and Max.  They came everywhere with us, slept in his bed, and were used to act out the scene where the Grinch ties a horn on Max's head.  (Over and over and over again.)  The other stuffed dog (Whom Atticus named Jingle Bell Doggie) was a gift to him from my grandmother, Stella last year.  It barks We Wish You A Merry Christmas and wags its tail.  Atticus was terrified of it.  He'd seriously panic if he even thought we were going to turn it on.  He slowly got over his fear starting with him allowing me to turn it on while he stood far away, and then got to the point that Dan finally removed the batteries because we were so sick of hearing it.  (Even though his dancing to it was adorable.)
My Christmas babies.  ("Ho, Ho, Ho")
Due to the arrival of a tiny baby, we didn't get to do most of our fun Christmas activities and traditions.  Making cookies for Santa was one we did manage to do.  Oh and Atticus being old enough for Santa this year was so fun.  He loved to pretend to be Santa and ask what I wanted for Christmas.  One of those times when I told him something I wanted he said "Shh mom, you can't open that yet!  It's a surprise."  Meaning he knew that Dan had gotten me that thing and it was wrapped under the tree.
He lined up all the presents across the room.
Frosting with your fingers is much easier.
 Sprinkles.

Having a newborn (and a cute 2 year old) made for some fun times with my camera.

 My most favorite.
Christmas Eve at the Cathedral of the Madeline for their choir school concert.  One of my favorite traditions.
Super pleased for Christmas Eve festivities at grandma and grandpa's.
Jonny as baby Jesus
Dayton, Jonny, and Kyndi.  Thanks to Jimmy's fine woodworking for making something that didn't collapse beneath my tiny daughter.
 Cutest little wiseman.
 A pretty Williams-ey nativity shot.
These cuties joined the fun on Skype using my dad's giant tv.
Brad getting some practice before Baby Mills gets here in February.
 He loves her.
 Doing his talent:Stupid human tricks
Best talent ever.  Sam sang Indian Outlaw.

He asked for "A pirate ship, a sucker, and a treat."
Santa came!  The most pleased over M&Ms
His pirate ship!
 Giving a present to Jonny.
He got her a piggy bank which he picked out all by himself.
His present from Dan.  This is my favorite picture from all Christmas.
This is a close second.
I made him a cape that he can velcro different hero logos (Or faces) onto.
He's a little Iron Man obsessed lately.
I didn't finish Wolverine, Flash Gordon, or The Hulk in time.  And the A is for Super Atticus.
 My Christmas family.
The present he picked out for Dan.  A ball, an Iron Man puzzle, and a plastic snake.  Atticus constantly told Dan that his present was a secret and so he couldn't tell him what was inside.  But just about every time, he would also say "It's a snake!"  And once he asked Dan if he could "play with the green ball in his present".
I made her a little Christmas skirt.
On actual Christmas we were at the Bronson's and I was too tired to do much photo taking so I left it all up to Sheri.  I did get these two.  Atticus and Lydia cracking each other up.
 Asleep with Nana Nae.
Jonny's spoils
I swear we didn't give him most of this stuff.

Jonny's Newborn Shoot

So I got a great deal from a local photographer who wanted to build up her lifestyle photography portfolio (That's where they come to your house and try to take more natural, in-your-element type photos.)  Most of them turned out really well.  Also, I still look nine months pregnant in all of these.  Hopefully that's not too confusing for anyone.

(The framing on this one drives me crazy.)
Love this one.  Even if Jonny does have a dishrag wrapped around her neck.
Dan hates getting pictures taken.  Even just trying to ignore the camera and talk to me is way too hard for him.
He got a tiny bit of poop on his hand.
As close to a real smile as we got with him.  He was super bugged he had to hold her that way.  Because it's weird.
Atticus was super grumpy and uncooperative most the time.  We told him he could have a fruit snack.  He came back with these and promptly spilled them everywhere.
 She likes to pose herself.
I love both my babies' feet.
He was interacting with her how he normally would per the photographer's request.
And he was annoyed that she made him play with her feet.
I love this picture and it was hard to get.  Atticus was sick of pictures and we had to get him to kiss her long enough to actually get a picture.  It took about four tries.  I don't know why the side of my head is in this shot either.

Thanks to my parents for letting me use their sled.  I love these ones.
My favorite one of Jonny and me.
 Lips!
