Jonny mostly sledded with my dad because she loves him best. And she was done once the snow actually touched her. Atticus was a little nervous at first but was soon going all by himself and even backwards. He stayed out for two hours more after the rest of us went in. (In his tennis shoes)
I took these next few pictures from an upstairs window. He was having the time of his life all by himself.
That night we were having a family party because my brother, Jimmy, and his wife, Madi had just returned from China after having been there since last summer. They weren't home in time for Christmas so it was another excuse for us all to get together. Anyway, when my sisters arrived and realized Atticus was (still) out sledding, we decided to spiffy up (in my parent's and Stefanie's own, old ski suits) and do some sledding of our own.
(And these hills were a lot steeper than they looked! ...Not really.)
We were too heavy for the sleds so mostly we shoveled the paths with our bodies and got covered in snow.
It was difficult to get back up.
We look ravishing.
Stuck at the bottom again.
It was frigid cold and our fingers were freezing. And Stefanie is just really dramatic.
Snow angels!
Brad ignored our ridiculousness and helped the kids.
